we are

MaritMakes is a Seattle-based watercolor artist celebrating the vibrancy of the Pacific Northwest flora and fauna. Through semi-realistic, standalone studies of plants, wildlife, and sea creatures, her art aims to capture the playfulness and layered beauty encountered on hikes and travels - sometimes building rich textures and depth, other times letting negative space speak just as boldly.

Originals art, prints, and stickers are available, and commissions are welcomed for those looking to bring a piece of PNW nature into their everyday spaces. Online sales coming soon!
